San Francisco 49ers (Round 1, Pick 7):
Myles Jack – Linebacker / Running Back, UCLA
Myles Jack has athleticism you simply cannot teach. In 2013, Jack won the Pac-12 Rookie of the Year Award as both an offensive and defensive player. Continue reading “NFL Mock Draft (Part 3)”
Dallas Cowboys (Round 1, Pick 4):
Joey Bosa – Defensive End, Ohio State
Coming into the 2015 college football season, Joey Bosa was at the top of many analysts’ draft board. The Tennessee Titans just put the league on notice. The Titans are no longer the progressively deteriorating franchise, with a record of 27-53 under three different head coaches since Jeff Fisher left following the 2010 season. Continue reading “Here Come the Titans”
Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. In the investment banking world, it is referred to as synergy. Stockton and Malone. Belichick and Brady. Nowhere is this truth more evident than the NFL. If football is the ultimate team sport, then the NFL Draft process is the ultimate game of high-stakes speed dating. You only get to see what is on the surface. And you may think the pretty blonde across from you is exactly the girl you are looking for. But you won’t know until you two start going steady.
